Lutron Architrave Narrow Keypads in Austin
Slim, low-profile HomeWorks keypads with 5 or 7 engraved buttons, designed and installed by Smarter Homes. Lutron list price from $388 per keypad.

Lutron's slimmest keypad
Architrave is a narrow, low-profile HomeWorks keypad that sits nearly flush with the wall and takes up almost no visual space (Lutron Architrave). Lutron positions it for minimalist interiors and for renovations where controls need to stay nearly invisible. Raised buttons give tactile landmarks, and green LEDs beside the buttons confirm the active scene.

5 or 7 buttons
The 5-button version includes raise and lower buttons for shades or dimming. The 7-button version is for more scenes.
Door Wide or Door Narrow
Lutron's spec sheet lists both widths for each button count.
Engraved faceplates
Custom text or icons identify each button. Faceplates are field-changeable.
Status LEDs
Green LEDs show which scene is active. Raise and lower buttons have none.
One matte finish and twelve metals
Lutron lists an Architectural Matte White plus twelve metal faceplates (Architrave spec sheet). Lutron recommends black buttons when you order a metal faceplate.
| Group | Finishes |
|---|---|
| Architectural Matte | White |
| Brass | Satin Brass, Antique Brass, Bright Brass, Brass Anodized Aluminum, Gold |
| Nickel and chrome | Satin Nickel, Bright Nickel, Bright Chrome, Satin Chrome |
| Bronze and aluminum | Antique Bronze, Clear Anodized Aluminum, Black Anodized Aluminum |
Printed and on-screen colors do not match the metal exactly. Lutron sells color-chip keychains, and we bring finish samples to design meetings.
Controls that disappear into the architecture
Use Architrave where a standard keypad would be too wide, such as beside a door, on a narrow wall, or on a casing or trim run. Lutron describes it as an architectural element rather than an applied device. Its spec sheet also lists two contact-closure inputs on the back, for functions that do not use the front buttons.

Prices are Lutron list price (MSRP) in USD, checked October 6, 2026. Smarter Homes does not sell online and there is no checkout. Your list stays in this browser and is only sent if you email it. Anodized aluminum faceplates currently show an 80-business-day lead time in Lutron Designer; most other finishes show about 15.
Architrave, Alisse, Palladiom, or Sunnata
Architrave is the narrowest option. Pick Alisse or Palladiom for a larger face and richer materials, Sunnata for a clean retrofit keypad, Aviena for brass toggles, and Signature for backlit buttons in a narrow body. Lutron lists Architrave with HomeWorks, and does not list RadioRA 3. See HomeWorks QSX.
Bring your door and wall details to the showroom and we will show you how Architrave compares with the keypads on display.
