Palladiom Keypads in Austin
Premium low-voltage wired keypads for HomeWorks, in metal, matte, and glass finishes with custom engraving.

Palladiom keypads are low-voltage wired
The Palladiom keypad for HomeWorks connects over low-voltage QS wiring: each QS Link terminal accepts up to two 18 AWG wires, and the keypad runs on 24 to 36V at 30 mA (Lutron). That means the wire is planned at pre-wire, before drywall. For a keypad that mounts on a regular line-voltage circuit, see Sunnata.
| Keypad | How it talks | How it is powered | Where it fits |

22 Palladiom finishes: matte, metal, and glass
Palladiom has the widest range of any Lutron keypad. Each finish below is a Lutron product photo with its model color code. The tag under each finish shows which other Lutron lines list the same finish name, so you can match keypads across a house. Antique Brass is a handcrafted finish, so luster and hue vary. We keep the chips in the showroom (book a visit).

Photos: Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. Finish codes are from the Lutron Palladiom specification. Overlap is by identical finish name across Lutron specifications; confirm with a chip before matching. Lutron sells sample chips for the architectural (PD-CK-1) and Signature Metal (SM-CK-DEMO) finishes and says not to use chips to match non-Lutron products. Plan your Palladiom keypad: layout, finish, and engraving
- Choose how many buttons the keypad has.
- Pick a finish. The photo shows the Lutron image of that finish.
- Type up to two lines of text per button. Text that is too wide for the button is trimmed, as it is on Lutron's own form.
- Press Save to keep it in this browser, Copy link to share it, or Email us to send it to our team.
The layout, button sizes, text area, alignment, and two-line limit are taken from Lutron's own Palladiom engraving form, which offers 11 pt and 14 pt Helvetica. The preview is still an approximation: finish colors are close but not exact, and we leave out Lutron's icon library. Lutron sets the final engraving rules, so we check every layout against Lutron's form before it is ordered.
Materials and engraving
Palladiom keypads come in 2-, 3-, 3-button with raise and lower, and 4-button layouts. Finishes include architectural matte, architectural metal, signature metal, and glass, and the buttons and faceplate are offered in matching materials. Engraving is laser etched with custom text or icons, backlit, and the backlight adjusts to the room. Lutron lists the keypad for HomeWorks.

Palladiom keypad FAQ
Is the Palladiom keypad wired or wireless?
For HomeWorks it is wired, using low-voltage QS wiring. Lutron's page does not list it as wireless.
What power does it use?
24 to 36V at 30 mA from the QS link.
Does the Palladiom keypad work with RadioRA 3?
Lutron's page lists HomeWorks for this keypad and does not list RadioRA 3. For RadioRA 3 we typically use Sunnata or Pico.
How many buttons can it have?
Two, three, or four buttons, with an optional raise and lower.
Can buttons be engraved?
Yes, with custom text or icons, laser etched.
Which keypads need low-voltage wire?
Palladiom and Alisse keypads for HomeWorks connect over low-voltage QS wiring, 24 to 36V from the QS link. That wire has to be pulled before the walls close.
Which keypads use regular line-voltage wiring?
Sunnata keypads communicate wirelessly but are powered by a 120 to 277V hot and neutral connection at the wallbox, like a traditional switch. No low-voltage keypad wire is needed.
Which keypads need no wiring at all?
Pico remotes run on a battery and talk by radio.
Can I see Palladiom keypads in person?
Yes, by appointment in our West Lake Hills showroom. Book a visit or call 512-775-6101.
