What we installed

Control

Lutron HomeWorks lighting and shade control, with keypads and scenes across the main living areas.

Light

Ketra tunable lighting, plus accent lighting in the kitchen and pantry.

Shades, sound, and entry

Lutron shades, hidden small-aperture speakers in the great room, and UniFi Access at the courtyard entry.

Living areas

Light that changes with the room

In the living room and great room, Ketra fixtures set the color and brightness of the light, and HomeWorks ties those scenes to keypads and shades. A single scene can raise the lighting, lower the shades, and settle the room for evening.

The speakers in the great room are hidden small-aperture models, so the room keeps its look. Audio and lighting are planned together so neither fights the architecture.

Kitchen and pantry

Accent lighting where you work and store

Accent lighting in the kitchen and pantry makes shelves, counters, and cabinet interiors easy to see and good to look at. It is controlled with the rest of the house, so it follows the same scenes and schedules.

Whole-property control

One platform from the kitchen to the courtyard

HomeWorks is designed for large homes with many zones. Lighting, shades, and scenes live on one system, and keypads are placed so each space makes sense on its own.

Planning with the architect, builder, and designer early keeps keypad locations, panel space, and wiring settled before walls close.

See our Barton Creek service area page.

Entry

Secure access at the courtyard

UniFi Access secures the courtyard entry, with facial recognition opening the door for the homeowners.

Access control sits next to lighting and shades in the same plan, so the entry, the lights, and the shades can be set up together.
